    If a patient undergoes any procedure where an incision is made requiring suturing and is sent home without the correct post op care then the patient is likely to try a selection of products which may be highly fragranced, contain alcohol, or be basic ‘tissue oils’ etc, which can lead to breakdown or delayed scar maturation and resultant ugly hypertrophic or keloid scar development and pigmentation.  Although the doctor has performed excellent surgery, the patient blames the doctor for an aesthetically poor scar.

    Complimentary products Pre & Post Laser

    C-Innovation Pigment Perfector -  This product has been used successfully for many years pre and post medical skin resurfacing laser to prevent hyperpigmentation.  This cream contains a powerful percentage of the most potent form of Vitamin C. Topical application of L-Ascorbic Acid is helpful in speeding the healing process.  It is recommended as a post-operative regimen for laser resurfacing patients.  This form of vitamin C has been shown to decrease the degree and duration of post laser erythema (reddening).

    Under Cover Green Foundation -  Sometimes following laser therapy the skin may remain pink.  RégimA therefore offers a green cover up make-up.

    A RegimA day product containing SPF must be used.  The usual choice would be Daily Survival, unless the patient has a very oily skin type.  The doctor or skin care professional will advise on the correct choice.
