How Endermologie Works

Endermologie works by increasing circulation to the muscles and tissue fibers deep in the skin’s surface, and also helps to increase collagen production. Both of these effects help to reduce the appearance of dimpled skin, creating a more toned and suppleappearance.
The Endermologie system uses combination of suction and rollers to increase circulation to the tissues and facilitate the lymphatic system’s natural processes. It can help to strengthen and tone the skin beyond what traditional massage can do. A series of treatments can be effective for tightening and strengthening the skin, and also for eliminating dimple and lumps under the skin’s surface.
Getting Results with Endermologie
Most people need to undergo a series of eight to ten Endermologie sessions in order to see results. These sessions can be spaced out over several weeks, and you will need to make sure you are eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly so that the body can flush out toxins. A light massage with massage oil or body butter before bed can also enhance results with this treatment.
Some of the key things to remember for getting results with Endermologie, include:
- Drinking more water each day to help the body flush out toxins and extra cells
- Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean protein throughout the treatment process
- Working out regularly to sweat out toxins
- Wearing loose-fitting clothing to promote healthy circulation
- Massaging the skin tissues lightly before going to bed
- Avoiding fried foods and sugary foods that can elevate blood sugar levels and cause weight gain
The Endermologie procedure is fairly relaxing and most people report that it feels like a deep-tissue massage. The sessions can last between 45 minutes to an hour, and are performed on an outpatient basis.
